I bought this for Mother’s Day 2024 and my mom just brought the card out of the back of her closet yesterday, September 2024, and the card was STILL playing! The pull tab was filled with tons of sequins and glitter so she didn’t want to destroy the card just to get it to stop playing… she thinks she’s going to wait it out!

I was very pleased with this card because it was used as part of the best man's speech. The card played for so much longer than expected! We even put the card in the groom's room so he couldn't escape it that night. It kept playing for about 7 hours until the groom submerged it in the bath, finally ending his torture.
The Glitter inside the card all collected on one side of the card and when the Person broke it, nearly nothing came out.
My step mother cannot stand mariachi. I made sure she opened my gift first so the card could play throughout the gift opening. It ended up in the middle of a book and put in a drawer about an hour in. Could still faintly hear when it when the conversation lulled. Amazing.
